TBF of CT monthly meeting minutes of July 28, 2025 Present were: BioBass, Southeast, Northern, Fishing Crew 6:36pm Minutes from last meeting were accepted from all that were present. Treasures Report: Jeff was not present for the meeting, he did send a break down of our current financial standings. Keith did get the money he spoke about to jeff and that is reflected in the report. Tournament Report: Fourth trail event was held July 27th on CT River, Mickey S. took the win with 12.53lbs on the boater side and Paul B. took the win on the co-angler side with 8.27lbs. We had 14 boaters and 11 non boaters, our best turnout for the season this year. The final trail event is August 24th on the CT river, and according to Keith just about everyone is in the hunt for qualifying for the 2026 NSF. Opens: Our July 13th tournament had 11 boats. Next open is August 9th, Lee, Mike T. and Tony V are scheduled to work that open. It was discussed if we will have people available to work the September open. Kyle said he should have no problem getting guys from his club to work the open. Old Business: Member ship has hit 51 active members. Keith found conflicts with having Mansfield and Lilli as possible locations for the 2026 NSF one day qualifier, it was decided that Gardner lake and Bantam lake would be substituted in their places. Lee spoke about the bulk orders and how there were some interest but not a bunch, Paul looked for clarification on the pricing portion of the ordering. New Business: Jim is working on a jersey order for anyone who is interested. The launching location for the 2026 NSF was voted on and, Clayton New York. The dates for the event will be 09/08 - 09/13. Amy is going to give Jim contact information on past lodging in the area. Jim asked Keith to look into the permitting process for the state of New York. It was decided that the federation would include Tuesday night 09/08 as part of the lodging dates, but those who wish to stay Sunday night would have to cover it themselves. Jim went down to Jersey to look at the lodging situation for the upcoming NSF, and was able to find an Econo lodge that is about 20 minutes from the ramp. Jim got a quote for $3,200 for the rooms needed. It was voted that Jim could proceed with booking those rooms for the NSF event. The 2026 NSF "one day Qualifier" location was drawn randomly, and the location is Bantam Lake. There will be a 2 week off limits period starting 10/4 11:59 p.m. 7:25pm Submitted Respectfully, Paul Bossardet TBF of CT secretary.
