Mickey S. had lunker for boaters with a 4.3lb large mouth and Eric Baba had the non boater lunker with a 3.34 large mouth. We had 127 paid entry fees this season, the highest numbers in a few years. The 2026 State team results were as follows. Boaters: Keith C. Mickey S. Tony V. Ryan K. Matt M. Jim J. and Scott K. Non Boaters: Mike T. Paul B. Eric B. Jayson M. Javier G. and Rob I. Opens: Our August 9th tournament had 12-15 boats. Next open is September 28th, Tony V. will have the weigh in equipment and Kyle said he will have guys from his club available to work it. Old Business: We are still in need of a full time opens tournament director, Kyle said he would take it on as a last resort. Jim was able to secure lodging for the 2025 NSF, it will be the Econo lodge in Andover NJ. There was talk of bringing a grill to do burgers and hotdogs one night. It was suggested that the monthly meetings be switched to Tuesdays to accommodate those members who have trouble making it. There was also discussion about making these meetings zoom compatible so more members could join. Nick said he would do a cost analysis for a small business membership and see what the expenses would look like. It was decided that next months meeting would take place on September 16th. The "One Day" is scheduled for Sunday Oct. 19th, boaters were required to have a non qualified non boater in order to be able to fish. This was a problem expressed by those present who intend to fish the one day because the availability of willing non qualified non boaters is very small. After a lengthy discussion it was voted and passed that If there are no unqualified non boaters, then the boaters who finish in spots 3 & 4 would become the qualified non boaters for the 2026 NSF. If those boaters decline to participate as non boaters, then the next finisher down the list would take their place. If none of the remaining boaters agree to fish as a non boater then the 2nd place boater then becomes a qualified non boater. If that boater declines then the first place boater does not qualify for the NSF and is refunded their entry fee of $100. New Business: Possible Locations for the 2026 trail were announced. Possible location include Candlewood, Lilli, Zoar, CT River Haddam, CT River Hartford and Pachaug. A vote was taken and the five locations were chosen. Candlewood, Lilli, Zoar, CT River Haddam and CT River Hartford. Tentative dates for these events are April 26th, May 17th, May 31st, July 26th and August 23rd. French Creek in Clayton was decided as the launching point for the 2026 NSF. Signups for those who need to fulfill NSF obligations is open, Contact Jim J. to sign up for opens to work. The idea of a traveling AOY trophy was presented and discussed, no formal vote was taken. Jim looked for volunteers to be members of a bylaws comity to restructure our bylaws as well as a tournaments rules comity. Fred P. Matt M. Javier G. Jeff M. Paul B. and Dave M. agreed to act as members of these comities. A deadline for buy in commitments was made to be march 31st and those buy ins need to have non boaters. Lodging for NJ NSF is covered for Wednesday to Saturday and pairings for day number one of practice will be decided shortly. Eric B. took a weigh in bag to see if his friend can repair the leaking bags instead of replacing them. 8:21pm Submitted Respectfully, Paul Bossardet TBF of CT secretary.
