Treasures Report: Jeff was not present but he did provide a copy of his report, at the time of the meeting we had a positive income after payouts from opens, trail events and national dues. both Jim and Keith had money to add to that total. Tournament Report: Second trail event was held May 18th on Zoar, Tony V. took the win with 14.55lbs on the boater side and Matt G. took the win on the co-angler side with 6.59lbs they each took lunker for the tournament as well. Opens: Our May 8th tournament had 10 boats. Next open is June 14th, Paul Fred and Jeff are scheduled to work that open. Old Business: Nationals is pushing for our numbers to reach 50 (our current number is 42). We talked to Eric if there were any guys that fish the BFLs that we could bring on to increase numbers. Nick talked about how recruiting needs to be more focused at the club level and that will in turn grow the federations numbers as well. Nick also talked about incentivizing the clubs to have more participation at the federation level by making the 5th stop of the trail events the "best" clubs water of choice. There was an at length discussion of how it would work, overall it was accepted by all present, more to come on it. Eric sked about making online signups an option for potential members to make it easier with the modern times and younger generations. Benefits and potential problems were discussed, no final decision or solution was made. It was brought to attention that the membership application needed to be changed, Fred's information was still on it, that has since been changed. Top four locations for the 2026 NSF were presented after Jim tallied votes from his email he sent out.
